THE QUILTING

Loose fill migrates. It slides to the edges, packs into the corners, and leaves the thin patch you find at three in the morning. Every pocket in this comforter is stitched shut, so the loft you feel on the first night is where it stays on the hundredth.

A dual-layer fibre traps air instead of adding mass, so the comforter drapes deep and full over the bed and still feels like almost nothing across your chest. If you sleep hot, this is the part that matters.

FAQs

1Will it hang over the sides of my bed?

Yes, by about 15 inches on each side in every size. Twin is 68" x 90", Full/Queen is 90" x 90", King is 106" x 90" — set against a standard 38", 60" and 76" wide bed, that is roughly 15" of drape either side. Size up if you like it pooling toward the floor.

2What stops it going lumpy?

The quilting. Cold spots in a comforter are almost always fill that has migrated — it slides to the edges, packs into corners, and leaves thin patches. Every pocket here is stitched shut, so the fill has nowhere to go.

3Is it warm enough for winter, and too warm for summer?

It is built for all-season use. The fill traps air rather than adding weight, so it feels substantial without cooking you, and the knitted shell breathes. In a genuinely cold room, layer it.

4Can I wash it at home?

Yes, if your machine is big enough. The comforter needs a front-loading drum washer with a 33 lb or larger capacity, one comforter per load with nothing else in with it. Tumble dry low with dryer balls — that is what brings the loft back — or dry it flat somewhere cool and out of the sun. King size is often a laundrette job.

5Is the pillow actually cold?

Cool to the touch, not refrigerated. The ice-silk face does not trap heat the way a cotton case does, so the side you turn to feels cool when you get there. No pillow stays cold all night — anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.

6Which pillow colour should I pick?

All five are the same pillow — the colour only changes the shell. White and gray disappear into most bedding; pink, baby blue and yellow are the ones people notice.

7How long will delivery take?
